WHAT ARE WE LEARNING?
INSTRUMENTS
Students will learn all about the instruments of the orchestra. We will discuss how they are played and explore the sounds they make.
RHYTHM
We will be learning how to read, write and play various rhythmic complinations
NOTE READING
We will be learning the names of the lines and spaces of a music staff as well as composing our own small song
WRITING
Once a month we will be doing small writing activites. Examples include writing about our love of music, reaction pieces to listening examples or designing a new instrument.
